Digital Learning
Digital Learning at Southdale Primary School
At Southdale Primary School, digital technology plays an important role in supporting learning, creativity, collaboration and communication across the curriculum. We want all of our children to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to use technology effectively and responsibly, preparing them for learning, life and work in an increasingly digital world.
Our approach to digital learning is underpinned by our school expectations of Ready, Respectful and Safe. We encourage children to be Ready to learn using technology, Respectful when communicating and working online, and Safe when accessing digital devices, resources and platforms.
To support this, all children and families are asked to read and sign our Responsible User Agreement (RUA). This agreement outlines the expectations for using digital technology at Southdale and promotes a shared commitment between home and school to ensure that technology is used safely, responsibly and positively. By working together, we can help our children become responsible digital citizens who use technology confidently, respectfully and safely both within school and beyond.
